Grupo Fantasia - latin

Angel Wagner, musical director of Grupo Fantasia and master percussionist, plays more then 30 insturments. Angel has studied at the Harbor Arts Academy in New York and at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, Currently, Angel is a percussionist tutor, director of the Wagner Mulit-Cultural Workshop and percussionist in his band Grupo Fantasia.

Angel Wagner provides traditional entertainment for all people and much of the music is performed on original, hand made instruments. The repertoire includes original and cover songs from the Caribbean and Latin American. Specifically, the Cuban Rhumba, and music from the "Bueno Vista Social Club", Dominican Merengue, Puerto Rican Bomba and Plena, Columbian Cumbia, Mexican Mariachi and of couse, Salsa! Grupo Fantasia ia available in 3,4,6, or 10 piece configurations.
