Miles Donahue Group - progressive jazz

With several albums to his credit, tenor saxman Miles Donahue has been a staple on the Boston music scene for many years. Personnel on his discs read like a who's who of Boston jazz luminaries, with added sprinkles of international stars such as guitarist Kurt Rosenwinkle, pianist Kenny Werner, drummer Billy Hart, and others. His thoughtful yet soulful improvisations and brilliant compositions have led him to the fore of New England's jazz giants.
