North Shore Dixiecrats

For a rollicking good time in the tradition of the best New Orleans Dixieland style, The North Shore Dixiecrats are available in a variety of groups, ranging from a strolling three piece combo with banjo, tuba and trumpet, or larger groups with a complete rhythm section including drums, bass and keyboards and additional horn players. Their affordability makes them one of the most sought-after dixieland groups in the Boston area. Bandleader John Evans leads the band through their extensive repertoire of tunes, based on the seminal New Orleans funeral marching bands that made this style so popular.
