Q. Do you perform backgound music?

A. Yes, PanNeubean Steel provides music for any setting. We even provide solo Steelpan music when requested. Weddings, cocktail hours, lounge settings, etc.

Q. How long have you been playing the Steelpan?

Y. I fell in love with the Steelpan 13 years ago. Through the Military's desire to showcase the Steelpan, I was encouraged to perfect my performance skills.

Q. Does PanNeubean Steel perform styles other than Caribbean music?

Y. PanNeubean Steel was created to showcase the Steelpan's versatility. We have incorporated a variety of musical styles into our repertoire. The Steelpan adds the Caribbean "spice".

Q. I noticed you're an educator in addition to a musician, do you provide lessons or workshops on the Steelpan?

Y. Upon request, I give Steelpan instructions and formal workshops to institutions.

Q. Why name the band PanNeubean Steel?

Y. Pan Neubean Steel was created to provide a musical outlet for the Steelpan. The name is a combination of the Steelpan's recenty invention and its African-Caribbean origin.
