Tuxedo Junction

When you're choosing a band for your wedding, what's the first thing to look for? Vocal ability is a predominant factor in determining the versatility of a live band. Whether it be a smooth ballad by Barbara Streisand a rock song by Bonnie Raitt, a sultry tune by Toni Braxton, or a swing hit from the 40's, Michelle Gadbois captures the style and the sound of dozens of music's top female vocalists. Michelle sings with a rich, full timbre that is quite distinctive and rather unique among female vocalists performing in this market today. She adds the top voice on the group's four-part and a cappella numbers, and plays Latin percussion instruments or an occasional keyboard part.

Jake Hulsman is a veteran of the wedding and function business. His clear, bright tenor voice can be heard covering the gamut from Van Morrison's "Have I Told You lately," to Stevie Ray Vaughan's "Crossfire." Jake's guitar flows easily from one style of music to the next to add a rich texture to the sound of the band. hi addition, Mr. Hulsman is a gifted emcee who brings humor and wit to every occasion.

The third member founding member of "Tuxedo Junction." is vocalist, pianist, synthesist, and musical director, Larry Miles. Larry's rich baritone and soaring falsettos cover an incredible spectrum of songs. Larry effortlessly moves from Nat King Cole to Frankie Valli, or from Frank Sinatra to Stevie Wonder. Larry's active creativity and vocal ability can be heard on locally aired commercials such as Goodyear, Christie's Markets, and Gulf Oil. Jimmy Vita plays unbelievable sax and doubleson keyboards, and has a rich singing voice as well.

Doug Nally, drummer / percussionist, is a seasoned professional, having worked with artists such as Phyllis Hyman and Stanley Turrentine. He has appeared at the Newport and Montreux Jazz Festivals, Carnegie Hall and on "The Tonight Show" starring Johnny Carson. Doug is a master of the drums and is affectionately referred to as the "Rhythm King".

Tuxedo Junction proudly introduces the addition of Brian Templeton as front man / vocalist / harmonica player and percussionist.

Brian is an exceptionally talented vocalist and harmonica player, who has recorded several CDs as a solo artist and as a founding member of the band, The Radio Kings. Brian has toured extensively throughout this country and abroad. He brings his unique style and energy to every song he performs.
