Singles, Duos and A Cappella Groups
Below are listed our single and duo musicians (non-classical), as well as our A Cappella groups (which means vocals with no instruments). Often when you‘re having a smaller function or party, all you really need is one or two musicians to create the low-key ambience you’re looking for. At other times, you might want a full band sound but don’t have the budget. That’s when you look for one or two entertainers who can fill the room, but not empty your wallet. Since 1985 the Music Company has had a reputation for providing the best DJs available. Every individual DJ or DJ team has been carefully selected through a rigorous screening process, thus taking the guesswork out of the equation for you!Requirements are at least three years of wedding and party experience, a state-of-the art sound system with back-up power and speakers, and at least 5000 music selections on CD or MP3s (used with a lap-top). All our DJs dress in formal attire unless requested otherwise.
Our DJs are divided into two categories.
Our Conventional DJs are primarily hired for their ability to conduct a very elegant affair, whether a wedding, a cocktail party, or any function where a somewhat reserved demeanor is required. These DJs have superior Master of Ceremony skills, and conduct announcements with respect and with no embarrassing dialogue. Although they are extremely adept at music selection and “reading a crowd”, there will be no embarrassing skits or jokes to annoy your guests.Our Interactive DJ teams are perfect for bar mitzvahs, proms, birthday parties, or corporate events where a light-hearted interactive approach is desired. Based on the team concept, these DJs are perfect for a function where non-stop entertainment is a must. Besides our requirement of having thousands of fantastic music selections, these entertainers are able to take an event to the next level of energy and fun. Dance routines, impersonators, karaoke, and interactive games are available upon request. Packages are available for every budget!

Ceremony Musicians
The Music Company offers a wide variety of soloists and ensembles with repertoires ranging from Bach, Beethoven and Mozart, to Broadway and contemporary. From wedding and religious ceremonies to cocktail and dinner parties, The Music Company will help you arrange an elegant answer to your musical needs.
Many of our soloists perform with the foremost musical organizations in New England, including the Boston Pops, the BSO, and the Boston Ballet. Some are on the faculties and staff of the New England Conservatory, The Boston Conservatory, Boston University, and Wellesley College.
