Ray Greene and Innervisions
Ray Greene is a singer, producer and multi-instrumentalist living in Boston, Massachusetts. Having been brought up being influenced by the great Soul/R&B legends of our time, Ray has honed and fused his own distinct style, while maintaining those influences.
Ray Greene has performed with several of the biggest names in the fields of Pop and R&B, such as Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole and Rick James. In addition, he has recorded with Englebert Humperdinck, New Kids on the Block and many other noteworthy artists on the East and West Coast.
He has produced several CDs. His former band Universal Language earned a Boston Music Award for Best Local R&B act.
Ray wrote, produced and performed his first solo disc entitled "All About You/All About Me." It was released in the UK and received rave reviews.
His voice has been featured on commercials for Converse sneakers (with basketball superstar Magic Johnson), ESPN, Cadillac, Bose Speakers, Fox Television and Walt Disney Productions.
Greene produced the music for and starred in an educational rap video sponsored by the US State Department for school-aged children called the "Lady Bug Law."
Performances:
Ray Greene has performed the National Anthem for several sporting eventsincluding opening day for the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, the New England Revolution and the Bay State Games.
Television and Movies:
Ray's music and voice have been featured prominently in several movies and television shows such as "Pentathlon" starring actors Dolph Lundgren and Avery Brooks, and "Phat Beach" starring Hip Hop artist Coolio.
His Music has been heard on daytime soap operas "The Young and the Restless" and "One Life to Live." He is also featured in an HBO documentary entitled "Legacy" which was recently nominated for a Grammy Award.
When not recording or touring, Ray plays in and around Boston in his extremely popular group Innervisions.
