Boss featuring Chris Waller is a high-energy, multi-faceted 6 to 8 piece band whose forte is getting people up to dance and keeping them there. With a repertoire that includes Motown, soul, R&B, classic rock, standards and swing, BOSS plays it all! BOSS features noted saxman and composer Miles Donahue and the hyper-funk of vocalist Chris Waller. Get down, y'all!!

Their live performances create a sound that mirrors the original version of each of your favorite tunes. There is no substitute for the live performance of music by a tight, cookin' band. Vocalist Chris Waller, an in demand studio and performance vocalist, brings his 20 years of show business experience to our stage. His first album Love Moods, recorded with his brothers and sisters, the Waller Family, enjoyed regional and national success on the R&B charts. His vocal talent can also be heard on House Full of Love sound track from the Bill Cosby Show.

As a reward for the Waller Family's good will and recognition, the mayor of Richmond Virginia has proclaimed August 3rd, Waller Family Day. Since 1992, Chris has become a highly sought after vocal teacher and clinician. He has worked with Maurice Starr Productions and taught and worked with Bobby Brown for his 1992 Humping Around Tour as a vocal coach, and also worked in the company of Whitney Houston, Boyz to Men and TLC.

Also during this time Chris performed as a solo artist and made feature performances with different local bands in the Boston area. In 1996, he had the pleasure of singing lead for Herb Reed and the Platters. Chris's experience in the entertainment industry is virtually unlimited. Saxman,trumpeter,keyboardist,and bandleader Miles Donahue is one of the area's most sought after composer, arranger, educator and producer.

I haven't even left for my honeymoon but had to write and tell you that you were beyond my greatest expectations. I had been so disappointed we had lost out on another band because we changed our wedding date and now i know.... I lost out on NOTHING. I cannot believe that a band like yours was even available so late in the game. If you ever need a reference, please use me. SO many people- from my 23 year old assistant to my father's 70 and 80 year old friends came up to me and asked me your name and how I found you. thank YOU for making it perfect. such a nice job!! WOW!!

Boss was the best! They knew how to get people on the dance floor and kept the party going the whole night. All my guests gave rave reviews! They were excellent to work with and accommodated all our special requests to make the wedding very personalized.

Kristen and David were married at the Wychmere Harbor Club in Harwichport, on August 16, 2009. Boss was the entertainment at the wedding and they could not have been more wonderful! They are a true party band who have enormous talent and enormous crowd appeal! They had the crowd on the dance floor the entire evening, no one wanted the party to end! They were contracted to take two breaks, they only took a dinner break. Our guests have been talking about, and asking about Boss since the wedding...many guests took their cards. I have already recommended Boss to recently engaged friends, and I would be happy to recommend Boss to anyone planning a party!

Boss was outstanding as promised. At least five different people approached them or us for information about the band. Truly outstanding. Didn't realize they had a new female vocalist, and she was a pleasant surprise! Of course, Chris was Chris. That guy can flat-out sing. And Miles was very pleasant to deal with. So sorry we didn't get back sooner. I think my dad responded because we were in Alaska. Boss was absolutely amazing!!! Everyone we know is still talking about them. They were non-stop and had so much energy, not to mention their voices were flawless! We are now trying to dream up ways that we and all of our friends can have them perform a few years from now, because everyone loved them so much. Thank you for all of your assistance and advice along the way. Boss is by far the best wedding band ever!!!!!!!

I was so pleased with Boss. I could not have made a better choice with Boss. Miles was great, and the band is just awesome. The dance floor was packed all night!
