In the House

New England's Premier Party and Dance Band Since 1998!

Guaranteed to get toes tapping, hips swaying and heads shakin’, In The House  combines some of the top R&B, Reggae and Dance Rock of the 60’s through today into one, high energy, groovin’ show. Including the music of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, Earth Wind and Fire, Bob Marley, Gnarls Barkley, Outkast and Santana, this band knows how to get people moving and with new songs added weekly to the repertoire you never see the same show twice. It’s always one, Big, HOUSE PARTY!!!

In choosing our repertoire, In The House  focuses on music that is regularly in the public consciousness but is also known for playing that lost “Hit” that everyone loved but forgot about. Songs from the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s are chosen because they have the same effect on the twenty and thirty~something audiences as do current hits that we play, having recently been in popular movie soundtracks, television commercials and remakes by current artists, making every song recognizable. We’re also happy to add a few Big Band and Latin favorites on request!

Not a stiff function band, In The House  doesn’t go through the motions playing the same tired old format. Each song is updated to fit our style. Whether it’s adding a touch of Hip~Hop, Latin, Island, or Jazz or roughing up the edges to give it a new feel, each song is a new experience.

“Thank you for everything. You were wonderful! You made this a fantastic night!
~ Claudine Kos, MIT European Club

“What an amazing job you did at our wedding! Everyone is still talking about you guys! Thank you for putting on such a wonderful show and for making it an unforgettable night!”
                ~ Rory and Jamie Waldinger

“You guys were amazing. We’re ready to book you for the same time next year. Please mail us a contract!”        ~ Allison Gordon

“Thank you for making our wedding so unforgettable! You ROCKED – Voices, bongos, trumpets, and flutes flying. Everyone said you were fantastic.”
