There are many factors that can influence cost. A lot depends on where the function is, how long it is, what the date is, and what time of day it is.
Saturdays are “prime real estate” for local entertainers, so if you want to save some dough, have your function on a Friday or Sunday, or for an even greater discount, on a weekday or evening during the week!
However, we can always find someone good in your price range. We've been in business since 1985, and we have an enormous database of tried and proven bands, djs, musicians, and entertainers.
There are some great bands , for example, that aren't on the "A-List" for one reason or another (generally because they're a newer band), but are half the price but equal in talent to the " A-Listers". A jazz trio could be as little as $750 while a high profile wedding band could be as high as $7500. Most of our wedding and corporate bands are between $2500 and $6000. A Caribbean steel pan duo could be as little as $500 for two hours while a larger Caribbean group such as a touring reggae band could be as high as $5000. Our chief objective is to find the best band in a specific genre in your price range or budget.
DJs generally start at $500, although a casual weekday event could be less. The average price for a five hour wedding DJ is around $950. Our more popular DJs are $1250-$1500. Usually the more experienced disc jockeys are more expensive than someone just starting out or with minimal experience.
Ceremony musicians are usually $225-$250 for the first hour and $50-$100 for additional time, although Harpists are generally more expensive than other instrumentalists.
