Amanda Carr is a multi-styled vocalist and pianist who began early on in the rock and pop genre, but has in recent years focused on fresh interpretations of the Great American Songbook, following in her parent’s musical footsteps. For over three decades she has recorded and performed internationally featuring her own music which has received critical acclaim from a tough cadre of jazz reviewers.

Jane Potter performs throughout Boston with her jazz group and as a soloist. She is on faculty at Berklee College of Music and Northeastern University. She currently plays at The Fairmont Copley Hotel's "Oak Bar", and at "PJ's Country House" on the South Shore, as well as maintaining a busy freelance schedule. She has performed live on National Public Radio, at the Democratic Convention, and on WGBH.

Rebecca Cline, sparkling pianist, has performed or recorded in the US and Caribbean with such artists as Giovanni Hidalgo, Pedrito Martinez, Paulo Braga, Romero Lubambo, Jerry Gonzalez, Horacio “El Negro” Hernandez, Charles Neville, and Alex Acuña. In 2007, she received a CMA grant to compose a suite for her quartet entitled Clay, Iron, Water, based on Yoruban-derived Afro-Cuban ceremonial music.

Pianist Yoko Miwa displays unpretentious melodies, elegant phrasing, and the lyrical sensibility of a jazz poet on Fadeless Flower, her second trio release. A native of Kobe, Japan, Miwa began playing classical piano at age 4. She first studied jazz under Makoto Ozone’s father before earning a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she later became a faculty member.

Denzil "Belt" Botus is a pannist from Trinidad. He is best known for holding the record for most winning steel band Panoramaarrangements and his heavy jazz influence in calypso/soca music. Botus has been active since the 1960s and is considered one of the best steel drummers in the world. Denzil is currently living in the New York City area and avaialble for private functions in the area.

The brass band tradition dates back to the Napoleonic days of Louisiana. An abundance of brass instruments in New Orleans during the years of the French occupation allowed slaves to bury their dead with musical accompaniment. This was the root of marching band music. The Hot Tamale Brass Band recalls that tradition with their rousing renditions of classic New Orleans brass band music.
