Pianists

The piano still reigns as the king of all instruments. Every reputable hotel, restaurant, nightclub, and private club has a baby grand piano, or even a full grand.

No other instrument is as versatile or as ubiquitous as the piano. The most beautiful music ever written was composed on the piano. So naturally, our pianists occupy a very important part of The Music Company’s talent resources.

We take great pride in the quality our Staff Pianists. Our musicians are the most popular and highly requested in Boston and New England. They’ve been battle-tested through hundreds if not thousands of functions, ranging from cocktail parties, wedding ceremonies and receptions, corporate celebrations, nightclub performances, birthdays, and holiday events.

The Music Company is absolutely the clearing house for the finest pianists in the Northeast.

Here are some of our extremely talented keyboard artists.

Jack Coleman

Jack Coleman has performed at Four Seasons Mandalay Bay Las Vegas, Anaheim Convention Center , Los Angeles Convention Center, Cobo Hall Detroit, Houston Convention Hall and many other venues across the U.S.

He has performed frequently at both Harvard Clubs of Boston as well The Top of the Prudential Center, Marriott Long Wharf, and many other venues in and around Boston.

His repertoire includes the American Songbook Classics, tunes from the 50’s 60’s 70’s including songs by Elton John, Billy Joel as well as songs by contemporary artists like Ed Sheeran.

He is also classically trained and performs pieces for Weddings or special themed events. His playing is dynamic but not intrusive, helping create a special ambience for any type of event.

Jack also records original music with well-known Boston guitarist Phil Steffen, and is a highly respected Hammond B-3 artist.

Joe Mazza

Joe's repertoire is very large and covers all types of music from the newer artists today like Christina Perri to Sinatra or back to the old standards, classical music and everything in between.  I am always happy to take requests from both the bride and groom as well as the guests. I have had the privilege to accompany many celebrities namely James Taylor, Sarah McLaughlin, and others.

I always entertain with class, elegance, & professionalism. Everything is done in good taste & I NEVER resort to those "cheesy" routines or anything "hokey" that can both annoy & ultimately embarrass some of your guests.

Dan Webster

Daniel Webster has had a long successful music career, singing and playing in New England for over thirty years in a wide range of settings from weddings to clubs to private fundraisers and family events.   He began his formal training at 10 years old and studied Performance for two years at Berklee College of Music.   He was the keyboard/ vocalist for a popular and professional GB band in the Greater Boston Area call “The Knights”.  He recently performed Europe on the Avalon Cruise Danube River Tour with the Down River Quartet. He also performed for 10 years at La Boniche in Lowell and freelances regularly with several local bands performing rock, pop, R&B and dance music.

For many years he has accompanied local private schools in seasonal and group performances featuring children’s choral from age 4 to 14.  Most recently he is teaching both piano and voice for Music Elements.  Daniel Webster is most celebrated for his wonderful voice and piano arrangements bringing joy to listeners of all ages. He is admired by fans and other professionals for his command of lead vocals and harmony which delights the audience as well as his fellow musicians!

Vic Paul

Vic is one of our most popular pianists and entertainers. He can play cocktail jazz with the best of them, and has been a regular at the Hanover Street Chophouse for several years. But Vic's talents don't stop there. He is also an excellent "one man band". Vic uses a combination of technology, skill and talent to produce a surprisingly full and engaging sound. He's also ready when karaoke or DJing is called for. Small wonder he's the busiest of our very busy pianists.

John Funkhauser
